Virtus.Pro Bracing for Another Roster Change?

Virtus.Pro might just enter a roster change. AGAIN!

Sergey “Fly1eaf” Glamazda, general manager of Virtus.Pro, told on Twitter that the organization might once again do some changes on its roster. Fly1eaf said that the possibility is based on the players’ personal interests and goals.

However, the general manager clarified that the organization has yet to reach any final decision as of this moment. The fairly new roster has shockingly placed 5th-6th in The International 10, a great feat, especially for TI first-timers.

According to Fly1eaf, the possible roster change are all dependent on their players’ decisions.

Currently, Virtus.Pro consists of the fresh players in the names of:

  1. Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko
  2. Danil “gpk” Skutin
  3. Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin
  4. Vitalie “Save-” Melnic
  5. Illias “Kingslayer” Ganeev

The said roster has been on the organization since 2020. Despite being young in the scene, the team’s name made it big after doing well against remarkable foes such as Team Secret, Team Nigma, and even OG.

Although doing well in minor events, the organization failed to emulate the same energy in the Majors. Analysts regarded the team as a team to beat in TI. Things came crashing down however after Team Spirit eliminated them in the lower bracket.

With teams regularly shifting plans post-TI, Virtus.Pro has become a victim of rumors where another possible roster change happening in the organization.

While stories were just rumors, Virtus.Pro confirmed that Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin may eventually leave the roster.

Significantly, fans also observed that Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko has been spamming offlane heroes recently.

As DPC Season nears, it’s definitely possible for Virtus.Pro to make an official announcement regarding their possible changes soon. With that regard, will the organization add new powerhouse players under its belt?
