TI 10 is right around the corner and OG is starting to feel it!
TI defending champs OG have already started to gather in their bootcamp to prepare for the upcoming TI 10.
The European team’s bootcamp is scheduled to take place in Lisbon, Portugal. OG spent their practice in the said location when they played in and won the TI10 Western Europe (WEU) qualifier.
“To defend their double title in October in Bucharest, they will have to face even more challenges than ever. Today, the Dream Team is making its way back to bootcamp. Let’s play some Dota,” the organization told in a Tweet.
OG will not be playing in TI10 with Anathan “ana” Pham and Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka, who were both key members of the winning squads during TI8 and TI9. As a result, the team’s lineup at TI10 is as follows:
SumaiL and N0tail had already arrived in Lisbon a few days earlier, as evidenced by the latter’s Twitch livestreams.
Currently, the remaining three players are following suit. Following a recent journey to Lebanon, Ceb will be on his way to the bootcamp. Prior to the trip, he had spent a significant amount of time grinding ranked matchmaking.
OG is a defending champion who appeared to be one of the underdogs this year.
The team struggled to realize its full potential, having little success, and being unable to compete in LAN competitions, where it usually flourishes.
Despite this, the team had the last laugh when it outperformed its WEU opponents in the TI10 qualification. The team defeated Tundra Esports 3-2 in the grand final, securing the last available spot at TI10 and a chance to defend their title.
The kings will be defending their crown in Arena Nationala Stadium in Bucharest, Romania from 7th-17th Oct 2021. As of this moment, Valve has yet to announce whether it will allow a live audience in the tournament or not.
