Yordenis Ugas defeated Philippine boxing legend turned politician Manny Pacquiao, in what could be the latter’s last bout.
Yordenis Ugas defeated Manny Pacquiao by unanimous decision (115-113, 116-112 x 2) to retain his WBA welterweight championship on Sunday.
It can be remembered that Pacquiao should be facing Errol Spence, Jr., but he withdrew from the match less than two weeks due to his eye problem.
It was not just Ugas’ jabs that gave him the advantage though with his right hand too troubling Pacquiao all night.
“It was a hard time, making an adjustment about his style and I think that was the problem for me because I didn’t make an adjustment,” the Filipino boxing icon said post-fight.
Pacquiao is not sure anymore if this is his last fight. We guess only time will tell.
