Aura PH on Saturday revealed that the Indonesian-backed team will not be present in the upcoming MPL Season 8. Aura said they will be representing another esports organization.
The organization remains tight-lipped about the changes in their team. Specifically, they are mum about the next organization they will represent. Rumors spread across Aura and MLBB fans, saying that it could be a partnership between them and RSG.
Aura dropped some hints prior to their announcement but still no one guessed it. Even our sources were not sure about Aura PH’s plans.
However, in a post shared by Aura PH’s strategic coach Steven “DaleDalus” Vitug, Nexplay player Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera seemed to drop some hints about Aura’s new representation.
In the said post, Yawi commented “Echo ah” twice, which seemingly shares a hint about Aura’s new name. Coincidentally, Hyprgame heard a rumor that Aura will represent ECHO Esports in MPL Season 8.
Echo Esports is an Indonesian esports organization. It was founded earlier this year.
Did Yawi drop Aura PH’s new name? Will they be under another Indonesian esports organization, or ECHO is their new Philippine name? Or… was it just a ploy? Either way, we’ll know the truth tomorrow when MPL PH announced the new roster.
Hyprgame will be covering the announcements of MPL PH, and will provide more information as they come in. We are also getting the hottest rumors in the esports scene so you can be first in the news, anywhere you are.
