After getting denied in Sweden, TI 10 is now going to Romania.
Valve recently announced that its biggest tournament The International has found its new home in Bucharest, Romania.
Originally set from August 5 to August 15, The International 10 will now be held from October 7 to 17.
“We are grateful for the partnership we have formed with Romania and the city of Bucharest, and very much look forward to gathering with the global Dota 2 community, both in-person and virtually, to celebrate the elite players and amazing fandom at The International,” told the organizers on their website.
In addition, Valve shared some excitement with fans. “Prepare yourselves. At long last, the battle begins,” they told
Stockholm, Sweden was the original venue for TI 10.
“In light of the current political situation in Sweden, we have started looking for possible alternatives elsewhere in Europe to host the event this year…We feel confident that in either instance we will have a solution that allows us to hold TI10 in Europe this year, and that we will be able to announce an updated plan in the very near future,” Valve told.
