Wah lau eh!

Singlish chatlines are now in Dota 2, thanks to Team SMG

Rejoice, Singaporean Dota 2 Fans! Those players who want to throw Singaporean lines on their teammates are now doable, although just for a limited time.

The Support Club feature on Dota 2 have just arrived recently, and Team SMG dropped theirs with a little surprise for Singaporean fans as the subscribing to the team’s supporters club will allow you to throw in Singlish phrases including “Steady pom pi pi”, and “Sibeh sian ahhhhh”.

The phrase “Steady pom pi pi” is famous in Singapore as it is usually used to recognize someone who is reliable. “Sibeh sian ahhhhh” on the other hand is usually used to describe tiredness.

Recenlty, the phrase “steady pom pi pi” was used by the Singaporean government for their vaccination drive. Meanwhile “wah lau eh” another phrase available, is usually used to tell someone that he’s stupid.

Not just that! Signing up for SMG’s Supporters Club would also give you other features especially in Gold Tier. Achieving the said tier would give players different cosmetics, including a gold badge and a loading screen.

The said tier would cost a player 26.65 Singaporean dollars. Lower tiers such as Silver would cost 13.30 Singaporean dollars, and 2.65 Singaporean dollars for Bronze.

According to Valve, such feature will only be available until July 31 of this year.
