VCT China is here!

Riot Games has recently unveiled an exciting update regarding the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) with the inclusion of China as the latest addition, establishing it as the fourth most prestigious International League.

In a statement by Leo Faria, the Global Head of VALORANT Esports, the anticipation for China’s participation in VCT was palpable.

This development now expands the roster of official leagues within the Valorant Champions Tour to four, augmenting the existing leagues in the Americas, EMEA, and Pacific regions, all of which commenced in the year 2023.

Notably, the game’s official launch in mainland China took place on July 12, marking a significant milestone, considering it arrived three years after its global release due to intricate licensing challenges.

Tencent, a key player in the gaming industry, revealed that Valorant had achieved remarkable success as their most triumphant PC game launch in terms of active users on its debut day.

Adding to the excitement, Shanghai is slated to host the second Masters tournament of the season.

VCT China will witness the participation of twelve competitive teams, all vying for Championship Points and the coveted opportunity to qualify as champions, alongside their involvement in this novel league.
