Zeta Division made a triumphant return to the global stage by winning the VCT Pacific Last Chance Qualifier.
They emerged victorious over Team Secret in the intense grand final with a scoreline of 3-1.
Zeta Division’s path to victory was exceptional.
They defeated Rex Regun Qeon 2-1 in the upper bracket semifinal and secured a convincing 2-0 win against Team Secret in the upper bracket final.
As champions, Zeta Division will represent the Pacific League at Valorant Champions 2023 in Los Angeles from August 6 to 26, competing against the best teams from the Americas, EMEA, and China.
In the grand final, Zeta Division won the first map “Fracture” and Team Secret equalized on “Ascent” with a 13-9 scoreline.
They then secured a match point on “Split” and ultimately won with a 13-6 score on “Lotus.”
Koji “Laz” Ushida from Zeta Division was awarded the grand final MVP for his outstanding performance, with the highest overall KDA of 74/53/14.
