NAOS Esports secures their spot in the Valorant Ascensions tournament, defeating Oasis Gaming in a hard-fought battle. The grand finals of the Valorant Challengers Philippines took place at the SMX Convention Center, marking the first LAN event for Valorant in the country.

During the tournament’s second split, NAOS Esports dominated the regular season with an impeccable 7-0 record. However, Oasis Gaming closely trailed behind with a solid 6-1 performance.

The playoffs, which were held offline as part of the CONQuest Festival, brought NAOS and Oasis face-to-face in the upper bracket finals. Despite previously losing to Oasis in the regular season, NAOS turned the tables with a remarkable reverse sweep, securing a 2-1 victory and relegating Oasis to the lower brackets.

Refusing to be eliminated from the tournament, NAOS defeated ZOL Esports with a convincing 3-1 score, setting the stage for a rematch against Oasis in the grand finals.

In a thrilling showdown witnessed by a large crowd at CONQuest, Oasis Gaming initially dominated Map One with a 13-6 round. However, NAOS Esports, showcasing the strength that had propelled them to an undefeated regular season, made a remarkable comeback, winning the next two maps consecutively and reaching match point.

Map 4 on Bind proved to be a closely contested battle, with both teams tied at 6-6. Oasis Gaming rallied and secured seven consecutive rounds, pushing the series to a deciding Map 5.

The decider was once again a tightly contested affair, with both teams deadlocked at 6-6 at the half. However, NAOS managed to seize the momentum and ultimately closed out the series with a 13-10 victory.

With this triumph, NAOS Esports will proudly represent the Philippines in the upcoming Valorant Challengers Ascension tournament scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand at the end of this month. The victor of this tournament will earn promotion to the Valorant Challengers Tour Pacific League in the next season.
