Team Secret’s run in Division I proved to be short lived.

The renowned Dota 2 squad dropped the eighth spot in the Dota Pro Circuit Western Europe 2023 Tour 3: Division I after suffering a heartbreaking loss to reigning The International champion Tundra Esports last Friday.

Still, the team made sure to go out swinging, taking Game 1 before losing the next two matches in a close manner.

Team Secret crashed out of Division I for the second time this year. In the first tour, the team only managed to get a win out of its seven assignments which forced them to go down in the second division.

The team made crucial changes in its roster, adding Filipino mid laner Armel “Armel” Tabios and Russian support Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy.

With the two young stars in tow, Team Secret was able to get back to Division I for the last and final tour of the DPC season in hopes of qualifying for the Bali Major for its last-ditch attempt to get points for TI.

Fortunately, Team Secret still has a chance to make it to Seattle by way of the regional qualifiers.

Valve, however, has yet to announce the details about the qualifiers.
