Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new hero that will grace Overwatch 2 this month.
The new support hero specializes in healing and protecting allies from grave danger. He also has the ability to set up fights and can be lethal as well with his weaving ability.
He has a primary fire called Healing Blossom, which charges a luminescent flower to heal allies, and an alternate primary fire called Thorn Volley, which fires biolight thorns at enemies.
Lifeweaver also has abilities such as Petal Platform, which creates a flower-like platform for allies to launch themselves into the air, and Life Grip, which pulls allies towards Lifeweaver while making them invulnerable to damage.
His ultimate ability, Tree of Life, places a light tree that provides cover and healing for his team. The development team aimed to create a hero with a unique set of abilities that promote collaboration and creativity.
Lifeweaver is set to be released on April 11th, coinciding with the start of Season 4.
