Nigma Galaxy manager confirms that Kuroky won’t be retiring. This, despite the organization not announcing its official roster yet.

Although fans were relieved by GH’s recent announcement, they were still unsure about the team’s state. They felt GH’s announcement regarding Nigma’s current condition was rather vague. Furthermore, no concrete news has yet to surface regarding the roster’s status.

However, the manager of Nigma Galaxy confirmed Kuroky’s presence in the roster, saying that he won’t be retiring anytime soon.

Responding to the interview given by GH, Mohamed Morad, the manager of Nigma Galaxy, slipped out an important detail. He said that Kuroky won’t be “putting down his keyboard,” or retiring, anytime soon.

He went as far as saying that Kuro would only retire after lifting “two more,” referring to the Aegis of the Immortality or The International title.

Previously, Kuroky had lifted the Aegis during their strong run in The International 2017. The tournament also marked the beginning of European dominance over the title, with the region winning the rest of TIs (OG, Team Spirit, Tundra).

However, it was unfortunately the beginning of the decline for Team Nigma as well. They failed to gain a sizeable performance after their runner-up in The International 2019.

Their lowest point was getting relegated to WEU DPC Division 2 in the year 2021.

Fans were up in arms during the rough times, blaming Kuroky and his “experimental” drafts during Nigma’s downturn. There were even words thrown as to how Kuroky was underperforming performance-wise as well.

However, with the recent announcement, it would seem that Kuroky was determined to win another Aegis, at least two of them, before retiring.
