Tims Out of OB.Neon to Clarify Permanent Transfer Speculations

OB.Neon speaks up amidst speculations on Tims’ permanent position on the team.

All-Filipino squad Neon Esports told in a statement that TNC’s Tims will no longer stand in for the team. The team clarified that Tims was just a borrowed player from TNC and that his position was not permanent.

In their announcement, Neon mentioned that Tims will no longer be filling in for Neon. His absence will make him unavailable in Beyond The Summit (BTS) Pro Series S7: Southeast Asia (SEA).

This clarification from the organization rose after speculations claiming Tims will eventually stay with Neon permanently.

The said speculations started brewed after the TNC’s position-5 player blended in with Neon smoothly.

Tims’ position in Neon was a temporary replacement for John Anthony “Natsumi-” Vargas.

“As much as we enjoyed Tims playing for us it is now time for each of us to focus on our own business,” Neon announced.

In his absence, the organization also teased fans to stay tuned for Tims’ future replacement ahead of BTS.

“Stay tuned for updates on who will be playing for us in BTS!” they added in a tweet.

OB.Neon’s Expected Roster

As of this moment, the current roster that we’ll be expecting from Neon will be:

2. Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer
3. Michael Roi “Enryu” Ladines

TNC’s support player definitely played well with Natsumi’s squad as he and the squad managed to snatch the PNXBET Invitationals Southeast Asia Season 2 title.

With him departing from his temporary team, we’ll all expect Tims to take a break from the scene.

Recently, TNC announced that the team will be ‘taking a break’ at least until the next TI season. The organization explained that they will be using the much-needed break to spend time with their loved ones.
