Win-riders? MidOne, Kpii Jumps to SMG After Qualifying in Sea DPC

It seems MidOne and Kpii were very keen on choosing a new team as both pros decided to go with Team SMG after the organization qualified for SEA DPC.

Southeast Asian team SMG (Still Moving Under Gunfire) had officially put into paper their decision to include MidOne and Kpii to the roster after they have qualified for the second season of 2021 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC).

MidOne’s decision to play with the team came in after the former two-time The International champion OG decided to bench him days before Ana’s comeback.

Meanwhile, kpii’s decision to try his luck with the team came in after he parted ways with TNC in early March where he had a very good run.

Currently, SMG now has a very formidable cast as aside from the two additions, they already have Muhammad Ammar “neah666” Rasulli, Tue “ah fu” Soon Chuan, and Southeast Asian Dota legend Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung in their roster.

MidOne will be playing as the carry for the team while neah666 will play as their mid. Mushi on the other hand will play as a support together with ah fu leaving Kpii to work on the team’s offlane.

Supposedly, SMG was not supposed to be playing for DPC after they got swept off by Team D.

However, their luck came in overwhelmingly as the very team who defeated them faced a disqualification for using a smurf in the tournament.

Team D’s disqualifications follows after vtFaded was found guilty of transferring to another team even if the transfer window was already over which forced him to use a smurf hoping that it would go unnoticed.

Team SMG will be joining 496 Gaming, South Built Esports, Cignal Ultra, Galaxy Racer, Army Geniuses, Team Mystery, and Motivate.Trust Gaming in the lower division where a battle royale will occur for a chance to play in the upper division.

The said team will be Galaxy Racer on April 15 for their DPC debut.
