Echo Rafflesia Tests Positive of COVID

Tank master Rafflesia of ECHO Esports tests positive of COVID-19.

ECHO Esports’ Christian “Rafflesia” Fajura revealed that he did not participate in the recent MPL matches of the team after he tested positive for COVID.

According to the player, he has been in isolation since last week. Rafflesia spent his isolation however in the team’s bootcamp.

“To those who are asking why I was not seen in the camera, I tested positive for COVID,” Rafflesia told.

“Since last week, which is why I didn’t play last week,” he added.

Rafflesia said that he was only given a green light to participate in MPL this week despite being in isolation.

“With all the things that can happen to me, I did not expect to test positive. I’m a very careful and clean person. I always take care of myself, for my family and people I love,” he told after testing positive despite being cautious.

Despite his return, the team still faced multiple upsets made even bitter by NXP EVOS’ 2-0 sweep against them.

ECHO only had one match for this week of MPL PH Season 8. As of this writing, the team sits idly at the middle of the ranking with a 2-2 standing.

Christian played an incredible role in the team’s energetic first week of this season’s MPL. A massive change in the line up however followed with Jay “Jaymeister” Torculas subbing in for Fajura.

As of this moment, ECHO expects a redemption arc starting September 17 as they face the rookie team, TNC.

Rafflesia will have plenty of time to recover game-wise before then.
