Wondering why John Paul “H2wo” Salonga was not part of the roster recently revealed by RSG Philippines?

Well, it turns out, H2wo actually asked the organization for a break after the conclusion of the MPL Philippines Season 11.

However, RSG PH team manager Lexie Yambao said that the social media star is still part of the organization and that his deals are continuous.

“H2wo right now is not part of the MPL S12 roster, but he is still under RSG PH,” said Yambao during the MPL PH media day.

“After kase ng Season 11 he requested to rest so right now he is on the bench, pero his deals and projects are continuous,” he added.

This strategic decision to grant H2wo a break demonstrates RSG Philippines’ dedication to nurturing the mental and physical well-being of their players. Esports athletes often endure grueling training schedules, intense competition, and the pressures of maintaining a public persona.

Offering H2wo the opportunity to step back not only underscores the organization’s commitment to the players’ overall health but also acknowledges the significance of a balanced approach to gaming careers.
