Iceiceice on Pure: ‘Maybe He’s Like A Dumb Motherf*cker’

Veteran Dota 2 star Daryl “iceiceice” Koh recently aired his thoughts about the punishment that Bali Organizers handed BetBoom and offlaner Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko.

According to iceiceice, he believes that Pure has no intentions at all to cheat especially since the game has been paused for almost 30 minutes due to technical difficulties.

“Yeah if the game was paused for like 40 minutes, you’re bored, you tab out, chill and stuff. Sometimes you’re in the middle of the tournament and you kind of forget about it,” said the Singaporean star.

“Yeah it’s like, you forget about sh*t. you broke the rules, it happens. I mean the punishment was kind of harsh to be honest because his intention wasn’t to cheat right and I think intention matters a lot, at least to me right,” he added.

The Bleed Esports offlaner also said that intentions, especially at times like that, matters and he strongly felt that Pure was just trying to relieve boredom.

“If his intention was just like he’s bored, he tabs out. I have no f*cking idea why you go to a livestream of your game when you’re playing that game right,” said iceiceice.

“Maybe he’s like a dumb mother f*cker, what would I know? But he definitely has like zero intention of trying to cheat,” he added.

Pure was caught alt-tabbing during their match against Tundra Esports, which they won, in the lower bracket. He was then banned from the tournament for his actions while the result was reversed.
