Minana to Inherit Nexplay EVOS’ MPL PH Franchise in Season 12

Minana Esports is set to take over the franchise of Nexplay EVOS in the MPL Philippines.
Founder Julius “Banoobs” Mariano confirmed the development following the team’s massive 2-1 victory over Blacklist International to end the Season 11 regular season last Sunday at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.
Banoobs revealed that the organization is planning to go all out come Season 12. He also claimed that the team pushed through this season for the ‘sake of experience.’

“For the next season talaga, completely all out kami kase ngayon nag-start kami dito for the sake of experience talaga para masubukan talaga yung mga bata kasi they’re super rookies,” said Banoobs.
“Hindi kami maka-allout kasi at first we’re playing under NXP,” he added.
Minana Esports showed glimpses of its potential in its maiden foray in the MPL, scoring huge wins over TNC, Omega Esports, and the reigning champs.
However, it was not enough for them to qualify in the Season 11 playoffs as they ended their campaign at the seventh spot with a 4-11 win-loss standing.
