Pure in Danger of Missing Berlin Major Due to Visa Issues

BetBoom might miss one of its key players ahead of the Berlin Major.

According to reports, Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko is in danger of missing the second Dota 2 Major of the year due to visa issues.

If the 19-year-old carry fails to make it to the team’s trip to Germany, BetBoom will be forced to play with a stand-in as they try to boost their chances of qualifying to The International.

BetBoom offlaner Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko was seen spamming the carry role in his live streams which might be an indication that he will step up for Pure while the team will tap an offlaner as stand-in.

The team finished third in the Dota Pro Circuit Eastern Europe 2023 Tour 2: Division I after ending up with a 5-2 win-loss record.

Prior to Tour 2, BetBoom was coming off an underwhelming finish at the Lima Major where they fell to 15th-16th place after getting eliminated as early as the first round.

BetBoom looks to turn things around in the Berlin Major but with Pure’s status still uncertain, the team might slip face another challenging campaign in one of the biggest tournaments in Dota 2 this year.
