Tryke Says Edward Deserves to be in Hall of Fame Because of this Quality

Blacklist International co-owner Tryke Guttierez lobbied for the inclusion of Edward “Edward” Dapadap in the MPL Philippines Hall of Legends.

According to Guttierez, Edward’s loyalty to the organizations, as well as his massive achievements in the ML:BB esports scene, makes him one of the best candidates to be part of the league’s Hall of Fame.

“Deserve syempre ni Edward maging [part] ng Hall of Legends kasi iba kasi talaga kapag loyal e. Dapat yung mga loyal nare-rewardan kasi alam niyo na, ‘di ba? Simpleng criteria lang,” said Tryke in a video posted by Blacklist International.

The former Dota 2 shoutcaster even recalled his favorite moment with the two-time MPL PH Finals MVP to back his claims.

Guttierez said that when Edward received offers from Indonesia, he immediately told the team’s top brass about it and told them that he wants to stay with Blacklist International.

“Siguro yung favorite memory ko kay Edward yung nag-usap kami about muntik na siyang lumipat ng team,” Tryke said.

“Syempre yung lumabas publicly is ayaw daw niya ng pagkain pero sa totoo lang that was a conversation he opened up with us because naka-receive siya ng viable offer pero sa totoo lang beyond the public story, privately, he never really wanted to leave,” he added.

The MPL Philippines announced earlier this year that they will induct one individual to the Hall of Legends every season.
