Wiki Manager of Liquidpedia and one of the leading mobile esports journalists Hesketh2 recently tweeted some exciting news about Honor of Kings.

According to the tweet, the Asia Server for HoK is likely to be launched in the next two months according to a rumor he found online.

This news has been eagerly awaited by players from the region, who have been waiting for a dedicated server to play on.

In addition, the tweet also mentioned that the KPLGT (Overseas League), one of the biggest HoK tournaments, will be returning in June or July.

This tournament is known for featuring some of the best HoK players from around the world.

Furthermore, the tweet stated that the Asian Games, which is one of the biggest multi-sport events in the world, will include HoK in its lineup on September 23.

This is a major achievement for the game, which has been rapidly gaining popularity in recent years.

Finally, the tweet revealed that the KIC2023 (Kings of Glory International Championship), another major HoK tournament, is scheduled to take place in late October or early November.

This wasn’t the first time Tencent tried to penetrate the Asian market outside of China. Just years ago, they released a rehashed version of HoK called Arena of Valor, which failed to overtake the likes of other mobile MOBAs such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
