Cr1t complained about how the EEU (Eastern Europe) region, despite ‘looking bad,’ got three Major slots while the NA (North America) region settled for two.

Known as a staunch supporter of North American Dota, Cr1t often promoted the region to the public. However, he was also closely monitoring other regions to see whether they are stronger or at least equal to the NA region.

While streaming, Cr1t came across a surprising fact that EEU got more major slots than the NA region.

Cr1t initially found the issue while looking at the current DPC table of EEU region. He was looking for a familiar name there, but instead found that the region had one more spot than NA region, with three teams eligible.

The Shopify Rebellion support immediately aired his thoughts regarding the matter.

“Wait, did CIS (EEU) have three slots? That’s kinda f***ed, guys. I don’t know, but I won’t lie, the region looks really bad.”

Cr1t elaborated further that from what he saw in EEU region, the teams were not particularly strong. Although he did not said it outright, many thought that Cr1t might prefer the slot to go to other regions instead, preferably NA.

His opinion quickly gained traction within the Dota Professional Circuit community, with most of them negatively responding to it. Some felt that Cr1t’s comment was unjustified, and that the region had more potential than it showed.
