Making a professional comeback after a break, SIBOL’s Blacklist team captain OhMyV33nus took a good call. Villaluna called-out a bait against Todak for a Lord kill, eventually creating an opening for the squad.
SIBOL’s Blacklist took the long route, ending the game in 20 minutes.
Fellow returning player from a season-break, Wise opened a clear early window in game two with his kills. Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario helped the team create a snowball around his crucial kills.
Meanwhile, Idreen “Momo” Bin Abdul Jamalis tried to level things up for Malaysia with his devastating Karrie pick. Momo’s Karrie dealt a chunk of damage against Blacklist, dismantling the team during teamfights.
In a traditional Blacklist way, Wise creatively defended their base in a 4v1 situation. Successfully buying some time his teammates’ resurrection, the team pushed back a potential game-ender.
The crucial late-game fight favored Blacklist all credits to Kyle Dominic “Dominic” Soto and Owl. Both players were able to buy time and kill three players with “Immortality” passives.
Seeing this window, the team wiped-out the Malaysians, closing the game for a 2-0 series win.
Now, the Filipinos are positioned to face Laos and Myanmar for their succeeding games today, May 18.
