Bitter Indonesians? ONIC PH Page Blocked Over Mass Reports

Some bitter Indonesians are surfacing after that devastating win from ONIC Philippines!

Filipino team ONIC PH’s Instagram account was recently taken down following a huge number of reports from its haters. The said ‘mass reporting’ incident followed after ONIC PH took down RRQ Hoshi in the playoffs stage of M3 World Championship.

During both teams’ face-off, fans were in for a treat after a beatiful exchange from both rosters.

Despite each other’s spectacular performance, ONIC remained superior after cleanly taking the series, 3-0.

Following their successful takedown, ONIC’s Instagram page was surprisingly taken down.

Allegedly, the page received multiple reports from Indonesian accounts. In their official announcement, the organization warned fans of accounts who have similar names with their official account.

“Any Instagram pages claiming to be our new account is fake. Our one and only Instagram account is @onicphilippines,” ONIC PH warned.

According to the organization, they already contacted Instagram in order to resolve the issue. The team also encouraged fans to observe sportsmanship, and not to resort to mass reporting everytime their team loses.

“We at ONIC Philippines do not condone this kind of digital attacks aimed at our social media channels. We urge the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang community to support us in this plight. Let’s all respect each other as fans of the same game we love to play and watch,” they told.

Blacklist International Share Same Experience with ONIC PH

Back in MPLI 2021, fellow Filipino squad Blacklist International also experienced the same trolling experience.

During the MPLI, Blacklist’s Instagram page also got taken down after a mass report. During that time, Blacklist was also up against Indonesia’s RRQ Hoshi.

As of this moment, ONIC PH is just a few steps away from a grand finals appearance. Meanwhile, the Indonesian squad will be fighting for survival down in the lower bracket.
