Getting sick in the middle of a prestigious competition schedule is perhaps the most annoying thing. Especially when you found out that your teammates were fighting tooth and nail, while you were just lying limp in the hospital. If you already feel something like this, you really need to be grateful if your body is in good health, right?

Well, the news this time came from one of the professional Overwatch players from the Houston Outlaws team. It is Dante ‘Danteh’ Cruz who is currently lying weak so he has to be absent from the OWL tournament week 2. It is known that Danteh cannot participate in 2 matches on the last day of the tournament.

It’s hard to be in Danteh’s position. The reason Danteh could not participate in the tournament was because he had to undergo testicular surgery. In fact, according to him, the disease will become more serious if it is not treated quickly.

Through his TwitLonger, Danteh also explained that he had to perform an operation on his testicles so that he could not participate in the OWL tournament to defend his team.

Danteh remembers how the disease began to feel. On the day of the match, he felt pain when he wanted to go to the bootcamp from Houston. Because of the pain, Danteh, who had rarely complained, said he could not endure the pain. Inevitably Danteh finally decided to take a hiatus.

“To be honest, I would still play if I had Covid or there were other problems at home. I am very upset because I have to miss this match and put people in a bad situation. ” said Danteh.

Fortunately, Danteh’s operation went well. All medical staff who took part in Operation Danteh could do their job well. The OWL tournament organizers also said they were very happy to hear the news of the success of the operation. OWL tournament organizers hope and pray that Danteh can return to compete in the tournament.

The Houston Outlaws are currently the top Western team in the OWL 2021. In their last match, the Houston Outlaws were able to beat London Spitfire 3-0 even though they were not reinforced by DPS Dante “Danteh” Cruz. Luckily Jacob “JAKE” Lyon, a player and coach of Outlaws, performed beautifully to replace Danteh, even though their rookie duo Myung-heum “JJANGU” Cho and Min-jun “PIGGY” Shin had to do the majority of the tough tasks.

The Houston Outlaws did have some strategic problems, such as taking too long to find hero values before trading. Luckily they continued to dominate, and started with a 2-0 win in Game 1 on the Oasis map, continuing to win Watchpoint: Gibraltar 2-1 in Game 2.The Outlaws finally secured a 3-0 draw against London Spitfire, with a 2-1 win in Game 3 in Hanamura.
