One of pro-team favorites Team Nigma is now the face of United Arab Emirates’ expanding esports scene despite disappointing Major performance in Singapore.

The team announced early this week that it is set to relocate in Abu Dhabi as the organization successfully partnered with twofour54, a media famous in the Middle East.

twofour54 is a government-run, tax-free media zone which hosts different major media companies including CNN, Fox, and Ubisoft.

The said media zone is expanding its market, and is now targeting the gaming and esports ecosystem in the premises of UAE.

Nigma will fall under the Abu Dhabi Gaming (AD Gaming) project of twofour54 — a project supported by Unity Technologies, Flash Entertainment, UAE Pro League, Emirates Esports Association, and the Media Zone Authority.

“We are delighted to welcome Team Nigma to the capital of the UAE,” Director of Strategic Partnerships at twofour54 told.

“We look forward to supporting and delivering this winning team of local superstars to the world. Team Nigma will generate jobs in Abu Dhabi’s esports sector and will inspire local talent by showcasing what can be achieved in this industry through dedication and hard work.” he added.

The team is now set to settle in Abu Dhabi as players coming from Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon are now enabled to group-up and focus on training together.

This big change in the team will not be the only one, as hardcore fans are demanding roster change, specifically kicking out W33 from the team as they blame the player to be the one pulling the team down from its great potentials.

Calls for changes followed through after the team’s early exit in the Singapore Major where Mind_Control failed to play with the team due to testing positive of COVID-19.
