DJ-Baker Daniel Ong Abuses Workers, Hires More Staff for New Resto

Celebrity DJ and baker Daniel Ong is now launching another eatery under his name despite being convicted of unfair labor law practices. 

The aspiring businessman is now looking forward to opening up “Dan’s Steaks Singapore“, a steakhouse which he plans to open in April.

As a new business opens, opportunities of course are on its way for people looking for jobs. However, one that is opened up by Daniel Ong does not seem one at all.

Ong has had history of not paying his employees. One violation traces back to his charge of underpaying his foreign workers for over three years in his Twelve Cupcakes, business he ran with his ex-girlfriend.

Ironic as it is, the celebrity will now be hiring for employees to work in his new resto carrying the question— will they get paid?
