COD Removes NICKMERCS Bundle Due to a Controversial Pride Comment

Activision has announced the removal of the Call of Duty Bundle that was in collaboration with popular streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff.

This decision comes in the wake of a controversial tweet by NICKMERCS expressing his opinion on LGBTQIA+ topics being taught in schools, particularly during Pride Month.

The tweet sparked significant backlash, and on June 7, a viral video emerged showing a brawl outside a school. The incident was reportedly triggered by a school board’s decision to recognize Pride Month, resulting in three arrests.

Esports caster Puckett, who used to live nearby, weighed in on the fight, advocating for allowing individuals to love who they love and live their own lives.

In response, NICKMERCS emphasized that leaving children alone should be the real concern.
