MobaZane claimed sweet revenge against his former teammates after leading BloodThirstyKings to a thrilling 4-3 victory over Outplay in the North America Challenger Tournament at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas.

The win also meant that BloodThirstyKings will represent the region in the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup in Cambodia and in the 15th IESF World Esports Championships in Romania.

Entering the 24th minute of Game 7, Basic (Brody) went for the split push and managed to take down Tea (Yu Zhong). However, as the Filipino gold laner chipped down BTK’s base, JOYBOJ (Kaja) and Yato (Valentina) came in time to defend their base and get the punish on Basic.

MobaZane (Fredrinn) and ISO (Karrie) took care of business over at the other end of the map, securing the game-winning Lord that delivered BTK to the promised land.

ISO led the way with six kills and five assists without a single death while JOYBOJ had two kills, three deaths, and 10 assists in 25 minutes of Game 7 action.

Outplay actually took Game 1 of the series but BTK bounced back in the next two to take a 2-1 lead. Both teams then exchanged the next two en route to a classic Game 7 that went the distance.

BTK lost both of its match-ups against Outplay in the regular season via sweep.

Prior to the season, MobaZane’s former teammates Basic, Hoon, and Shark all left The Valley to form The Ohio Brothers, which was later on acquired by Outplay, for the NACT Spring.

Left without any teammates as FwydChckn decided to skip the tournament, MobaZane scoured for new teammates to put together BTK once again.
