Elevate Reborn’s Edoten shed light on what kick-started the ugly melee between him and TooPro of Team Infamous during the PUBG Mobile City Tournament 2023 – NCR Finals last Saturday.
In a livestream, Edoten first slammed his bashers before revealing that TooPro went too personal in a group chat where he made fun of the former’s loved ones.
“May mga nagsasabi away bata raw. Tatanungin ko kaya, eto tatanuning ko kayo. Kung babastusin ko ba anak mo, asawa mo, o kaya kahit sino ‘man sa pamilya mo matutuwa ka ba? Matutuwa ka ba kapag dinamay yung pamilya mo,” Edoten said.
“Tapos ikaw pa mayabang, papakitaan ka pa ng cutter, sasaksakin ka. Hindi ka ba mapipikon nun? Nababadtrip ako sa mga nagsasabi na bakit ko raw [sinuntok],” he added.
“Saka niyo ko sabihan ng ganyan kapag binastos ko yung mahal niyo sa buhay tapos wala kayong ginawa. Kapag may sinabi akong masama sa nanay mo, anak mo, kapatid mo na babae, girlfriend mo kapag may sinabi akong masama tapos hindi ka nagalit idol talaga kita.”
According to Edoten, TooPro even sent snaps of a cutter in the chat and insinuated that he would stab the Elevate Reborn star. TooPro also showed Edoten the same cutter during the tournament itself which proved to be one of the reasons why the fist fight started.

“Saka eto pa, ‘di ko na nga pinansin. Nag-send pa sa GC nila, pinapakita pa yung cutter na yun. Eto pa ‘di ko ma-gets e, pinagtitripan ako sa GC eh ‘di hindi ko pinapansin. Tapos nung pinagtitripan ako sa GC, edi inasar ko, dinamay naman girlfriend ko,” said Edoten.
“Niyaya ko, sabi ko doon kami sa labas. Nagturo na ako sabi ko sa labas ‘wag sa event kasi ayaw kong madamay yung event, yung team ko. E pasugod [siya] anong gagawin ko? Alangan tumalikod ako e syempre sasapakin ko yun pasugod sakin e,” he added.
Edoten also revealed that they were both brought into a police station after the altercation. However, he did not reveal what transpired there.
Both players already posted apologies on their respective Facebook pages with TooPro asking Edoten for round two of their fight.
“Ito pa sabi, ito yung pinakabobong sinabi niya sa police station. Real talk ‘to, sabi niya sa police station ‘Ba’t ka kasi nasa GC? Nasa GC ka ng trashtalkan tapos iiyak ka. Sa Fliptop nga nandadamay ng pamilya e, dinadamay yung magulang e’ tang ina. Nagfi-Filptop ba tayo? Nasa PUBGM tayo e,” said Edoten.
“Tang ina sabi niya sa police station yun pre. Lakas ng tama, lakas mandamay ng ibang tao tapos nung ginawa sa kaniya.”
