Dogie might leave his longtime home, NXP EVOS!

In a vlog uploaded recently by Setsuna “Akosi Dogie” Ignacio, the coach revealed that he might leave the organization after this MPL season.

According to Dogie, he may leave NXP EVOS after MPL PH Season 9 to explore more opportunities. He says that he hopes to find a new and fresh environment for his personal growth.

Nexplay is a powerhouse MPL Philippines team that is currently in partnership with the Indonesian organization EVOS Esports.

“Guys, I want to grow more, my growth factor within Nexplay is limited,” he revealed.

The former pro also explained that top players Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcase and John “H2wo” Paul Salonga are likely to stay.

“They (RENEJAY and H2wo) already have their own lives. To be honest, I don’t want to hang on to them anymore,” he said. “I want them to stand on their own feet, not as my pro players. I want them to be my business partners,” he added.

As of this moment, the team’s run in the ongoing MPL PH Season 9 is far from ending. Currently, the team’s playoffs spot is already a huge possibility, but the team still hopes to breach a higher ranking.

Dogie and NXP EVOS have both had a long history. In 2019, the organization celebrated its rise to fame by buying out Dogie who was already a top MLBB personality at that time.

In the previous season, Dogie joined the organization as one of its players. This season, the celebrated personality switched back to the coaching role.
