Chinese DOTA 2 team PSG.LGD claims the grand finals spot, sweeping Team Secret down to the lower bracket.

Both teams have been tabbed as prominent contenders for the tournament. They have been prepared to prove the reality of the predictions since the tournament began.

PSG.LGD vs Team Secret Gameplay

LGD started strong with a Tiny pick in the opening game, while Team Secret went with the ever-popular Magnus selection. The Chinese team began by pushing the lanes to have their heroes ready and in position, while Secret was forced into awkward places. LGD built up a significant gold lead by taking advantage of their timings with the Tiny/Lycan duo wreaked havoc on Secret. Team Secret disintegrated in 1 or 2 shots as small achieved huge damage output and couldn’t stay alive or defend themselves. With a 14:0:3 record on Tiny, Wang “Ame” Chunyu came in third.

Tiny and Magnus were both promptly banned after the second game. Without the same pressure lurking above as the last round, the match appeared more even. Team Secret was in the lead this time, but despite their advantage, it was still difficult for them to finish the game. Team Secret made a blunder, and PSD came through with a spectacular earth splitter. LGD paved the door for the Chinese team to win the game and the series shortly after.

Team Secret will compete for second place in the grand finals against the winner of Team Spirit vs Invictus Gaming, which will take place next.
