Authorities in Kota Bharu are now hunting down influencer Didakwa Pergi and other social media celebrities for violating COVID protocols after attending the his massive wedding in Kelantan.
According to police report, the influencers in the photos uploaded on Instagram showed clear disregard for health protocols.
The photo showed attendees not practicing social distancing and not wearing masks.
The police also questioned how the bride and groom crossed borders from in and out of Kelantan. “The situation is thus questioning the cross-border movement of the bride and groom from outside to Kelantan,” the police chief said.
Kelantan police also added that they are now tracking down the individuals involved and that the case was being investigated in accordance with Regulation 16, Regulations on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases.
