Vlogger and social media influencer Penelope Pop may soon be deported for allegedly performing “gainful activity” without necessary permit and visa.
Also known as Winnie Wong, Penelope was said to violate the Philippine Immigration Act for selling lifestyle products such as notebooks, bags, and toiletries in her website without the required alien employment permit.
Earlier this year, the immigration bureau was asked to press charges against Penelope for selling cosmetic products unauthorized by the Food and Drug Administration.
