DogChamp Advances To Upper Bracket Finals Of NA TI Qualifier


Team DogChamp made it to the upper bracket finals after escaping Felt in three games, 2-1, in The International 2023 – North America Qualifier on Sunday.

The team flatout dominated the opener against Felt, securing a massive 34-7 Game 1 win in 35 minutes of action to take a commanding 1-0 advantage in the upper bracket semifinals series.

David “dnm” Cossio’s Sven was the star of the show for Team DogChamp, tallying a game-high 15 kills along with eight assists against one death in the win while Nicholas “red2” Martinez-Rossi’s Pangolier had nine kills, a death, and 13 assists.

Felt answered back with a narrow 21-18 Game 2 win in 46 minutes to even the series. Francis “Kitzz” Arriola led the way for Felt with five kills and 14 assists against three deaths on Tiny.

With the scores tied, Team DogChamp made swift work of Felt, 16-10, in Game 3 to complete the sweep after just 31 minutes of play time. Dnm once again took charge with four kills, a death, and six assists on Gyrocopter.

Team DogChamp takes on Nouns in the upper bracket finale tomorrow, Monday while Felt will take on B8 on the same day.
