Gaimin Gladiators Makes History at Bali Major

Gaimin Gladiators made history on Sunday as they became the first team ever to win every Major in a season.

In a thrilling showdown against their rivals, Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators emerged victorious with a resounding 3-1 win in the Grand Finals of the Dota 2 Bali Major.

This remarkable achievement not only marks their third consecutive Major title but also extends their incredible winning streak to five straight tier 1 tournaments.

The Gladiators entered the grand finals as favorites, thanks to their dominant performance in the upper bracket and throughout the tournament.

Team Liquid managed to ignite a glimmer of hope for their fans by securing a win in Game 2 of the series.

However, Gaimin Gladiators quickly regained their momentum, clinching the next two games. Their victory in Game 3 was particularly impressive, with a completely one-sided match that concluded in just 21 minutes.

The Gladiators’ path to their historic dominance began with their first Major championship win at the Lima Major in March.

They followed up this success by emerging as champions of DreamLeague Season 19 in April and then secured their second Major title at the Berlin Major in May. Notably, all three of these victories came after defeating Team Liquid in the finals.

Prior to the Bali Major, Gaimin Gladiators added another trophy to their collection by triumphing over Eastern Europe’s BetBoom Team in DreamLeague Season 20.

As winners of the Bali Major 2023, Gaimin Gladiators will receive a prize of $200,000 USD along with 650 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Points.

With a total of 2140 DPC points, the Gladiators have comfortably surpassed the minimum threshold required to qualify for The International 12
