Somnus’ Future in DPC Will Depend on This

Lu “Somnus” Yao’s future with Azure Ray in the Dota Pro Circuit will all depend on the team’s performance in the ongoing DPC China 2023 Tour 3: Division I.

According to a tweet by Chinese Dota 2 pundit @Tr1H4rd3rDota2, the former PSG.LGD star said that if Azure Ray struggles to stay in Division I during Tour 3, he will focus on streaming instead.

So far, Azure Ray has been performing well in the DPC, sweeping Aster.Aries to open their campaign with a win before taking care of business against Xtreme Gaming in three games for a quick 2-0 start.

Unfortunately, the team’s hot start ended at the hands of Syed “SumaiL” Hassan and Team Aster as they booked a 2-0 win over Azure Ray.

Somnus and Azure Ray are currently tied with three teams in the second spot.

Somnus’ former coach, Zhang “xiao8” Ning, who still handles PSG.LGD, said that Azure Ray is doing really well in scrimmages.
