On Wednesday, ECHO surprised fans by making a lineup adjustment just days after revealing their official roster for the highly anticipated 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup.
The reigning MPL PH champion earlier shared that MDL standouts Justine âZaidaâ Palma and Jaypee âJaypeeâ Dela Cruz, who both play for ECHO Proud, will join their main five in the regional meet.
However, due to âdiscrepancies discovered in the tournament requirementsâ the team was forced to remove both Zaida and Jaypee.
Instead, the team rostered Jian âJianâ Magtibay, who was the lone reserve of ECHO in Season 11.

âWe would like to announce some changes to our MSC roster, and to apologize for any confusion from our earlier post,â said ECHO in a Facebook post.
âThere have been discrepancies discovered in the tournament requirements, and weâre sending in the following players for the upcoming MSC 2023 instead,â the statement continued.
Karl âKarlTzyâ Nepomuceno, Benedict âBennyqtâ Gonzales, Tristan âYawiâ Cabrera, Sanford âSanfordâ Vinuya, and Alston âSanjiâ Pabico, the core members of the team, are set to spearhead ECHO’s quest to secure both the coveted M-series title and the MSC crown.Â
Their formidable skills and teamwork will be put to the test in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup.
Taking place in the vibrant city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the MSC is scheduled to run from June 10 to 18.Â
