Just ML shoutcaster Lanna issued an apology to the Blacklist International community following her comments about the team’s fan base last March 12.

“To The MLBB Community, Gusto ko po huming ng taos pusong paumanhin for generalizing the community of Blacklist sa last na cast ko sa JustML. I was out of character and there’s no excuse sa naging behavior ko,” said Lanna in a statement.

“Tutuloy ko po na mag improve pa po even further as a shoutcaster and hopefully makabawi ako sa community and mas mag grow pa dito sa mali na ito. Thank you po sa mga nag correct sakin and sa mga MPL Shoutcasters na nag guide and nagturo kung anong dapat gawin at times like this. After this one I’ll make sure na hindi na ito mauulit,” she continued.

During Blacklist Academy’s match-up against Archives last Friday, Lanna made interesting comments about the team’s fans. She said that it is hard to cast the Tier One-backed squad’s games because fans will bash you if you do not side with their team.

“Alam mo to be honest, ito yung match na sobrang hirap talagang i-cast. Ako talaga like personally, ito yung pinakamahirap talaga i-cast. Lahat ng tao i-ja-judge ka,” Lanna told fellow shoutcaster Tokwa.

“Lahat pre. Kasi, hindi ko alam, sa community talaga ng Blacklist may ganito. If hindi ka mag-sa-side sa kanila, matik bash ka,” she added.

As we all know, Just ML is under LuponWxC – an esports organization which is notorious for being biased all the time, especially in Dota 2.

Now, it looks like the organization’s tendency to lean on certain teams has reached the ML:BB scene which is not good for the community. Just ML, as expected, has yet to release a statement about the issue as of posting time.

The recent incident involving Lanna and Blacklist International has reignited these concerns, as fans and industry insiders alike question the role of organizations in shaping the esports landscape.

Many argue that esports organizations have a responsibility to remain impartial and unbiased, and to promote fair competition and a level playing field for all teams and players.

The incident highlights the need for more professionalism and accountability as well in the esports industry.
