Borkum on Team Secret’s upset win vs top seed DRX: ‘We took it as if our last game’

However, Team Secret’s Tondo Gaming came into action, and the Filipino squad responded with an outstanding five-round streak, concluding the first half with an 8-4 lead. This advantage proved to be decisive as Team Secret sealed the map with a score of 13-8.

Similarly, the second map commenced with DRX securing an early advantage, claiming the first three rounds. Even with Team Secret’s resistance, the match was poised to go in a blowout in favor of DRX after taking a commanding, 9-3 lead.

Mirroring their performance in the previous map, Team Secret unleashed their full potential, winning an impressive streak of five rounds to level the score at 10-10. In a bid to halt this surging momentum, DRX managed to secure round 21, but it only served to further ignite Team Secret’s drive. With unwavering determination, Team Secret seized three consecutive rounds, completing the astounding upset with a score of 13-11.
