The Berlin Major has once again featured a competition among top European teams.
In the grand finals, Gaimin Gladiators faced off against Team Liquid, marking a rematch of their previous encounter at the Lima Major.
This time, Gaimin Gladiators came out on top with a 3-1 score over Team Liquid, securing their second major win in a row and establishing themselves as one of the best Dota 2 teams today.
During the Group Stage, Gaimin Gladiators finished as the first seed of Group A with an impressive 13-3 record, which earned them an upper-bracket berth in the Playoffs.
They continued their dominant performance by cruising through the upper bracket, sweeping aside Team Spirit, OG, and 9 Pandas to become the first team to reach the Grand Finals.
For their victory, Gaimin Gladiators earned a prize of US$200,000 and 500 Dota Pro Circuit points, while Team Liquid received US$100,000 and 450 DPC points.
Still, Team Liquid is still the first team to qualify for International 12 after winning both Western European DPC leagues and second place finishes in Lima and Berlin Major.
