Demonkite to KarlTzy: ‘Wag kang mag-alala dahil sa Season 12 dudurugin ulit kita’

The MPL PH Season 11 playoffs saw a fierce battle between two junglers, extending beyond the game.

Inactive RSG Slate PH Jonard “Demonkite” Caranto took a swipe at ECHO jungler Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno after a brief exchange during the playoffs.

It all started when RSG Slate PH defeated ECHO, sending them down to the lower bracket.

During the post-game press conference, John “Irrad” Abarquez claimed that he was better at micro-skills than KarlTzy. KarlTzy responded by saying that the last person who made a similar claim went on a break.

While KarlTzy’s reference could have been to any other player, fans speculated that it was aimed at Demonkite, who took a break after failing to defend their championship in Season 10.

Demonkite later responded in an interview as a spectator during the RSG Slate PH and Blacklist International matchup.

He directed his words at KarlTzy, saying “Wag kang mag-alala dahil sa Season 12 dudurugin ulit kita” (Don’t worry, because in Season 12, I will crush you again).

Their rivalry dates back to Season 9, with a mix of back-and-forth trash talks.

RSG Slate PH and ECHO are set to face each other in the lower bracket grand final, with the winner facing Blacklist International in the grand final.
