Evil Geniuses has made a surprising announcement regarding their roster ahead of the summer season.

After an underwhelming 2023 Spring Split, the team has decided to release their key players including Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho, Victor “FBI” Huang, Kacper “Inspired” Słoma, and Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme.

The news was shared on the team’s official Twitter account with a heartfelt message that read, “They took #LIVEEVIL and gave it meaning. Today we say goodbye to Vulcan, Inspired, Ssumday, and FBI.”

As a result of this major shake-up, the only player remaining on the roster is mid lane star Joseph “jojopyun” Pyun, who is now set to play his fourth LCS season this coming summer.

Additionally, the team recently parted ways with head coach Aleš “Freeze” Kněžínek and assistant coach Albert “H4xDefender” Ong, leaving the team without a coaching staff.

Currently, there is no news regarding the replacements for the released players or the new coaching staff.

It is clear that this decision will have a significant impact on the team’s future and that Evil Geniuses will never be the same again.

Fans of the team will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on any further developments in the coming weeks.
