Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen made an impressive debut with Sentinels at VCT Americas, proving that he can still play in the big leagues.

After taking over from star player Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo, who had to sit out due to injury and COVID-19, Marved helped the team break its three-match losing streak in the league with a 2-0 win against MIBR during the super week.

Despite losing against LOUD in their first series this week, Marved finished the match with an astounding 1.44 VLR rating and 275 ACS, a series-high.

During the post-game interview, Marved expressed his confidence in the team.

“We don’t need much practice if you’re too good.”

He also highlighted that the team’s chemistry was great, saying, “I feel like we’re all five great players that fit in very well.”

As of now, Sentinels hold the 6th position with a 2-3 record in the VCT Americas league, and they have four more matches to play before the regular season concludes.
