RRQ Hoshi officially parted ways with Filipino coach Michael “Arcadia” Bocado, the organization announced on Wednesday night.

Arcadia, along with coach Petra “Fiel” Giovanni, took a break right before the MPL Indonesia Season 11 playoffs. With the two out, RRQ Hoshi suffered its worst finish since Season Seven after getting booted out by EVOS Legends in the lower bracket semifinals.

RRQ Hoshi finished fourth in the tournament and missed the chance to qualify for the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup.

Arcadia apologized to the Kingdom for not being with them during the playoffs and said that he appreciated all the support that he has gotten ever since he joined the team last year.

Arcadia has yet to announce his future plans but he already flew back to the Philippines a few weeks ago and even supported his former team ECHO during the regular season.

“Your support was always there no matter what challenges we faced. I love you all. The adventure doesn’t end here, but this chapter does. Looking forward as to what’s next!”
