Sentinels Axe Coach SyykoNT During Americas League After Poor Results

Sentinels have removed Donald “SyykoNT” Muir from his coaching role in the Valorant Americas League, according to a tweet from the team’s CEO.

“We have come to the difficult decision to part ways with Don @SyykoNT Muir. Adam @itskaplan Kaplan will be stepping in as head coach effective immediately,” the tweet read.

The team’s strategic coach, Adam “Kaplan” Kaplan, will replace Muir.

Sentinels, known as the American superteam in Valorant’s franchising system, has had a tough start to the season.

Losses to Fnatic at VCT LOCK//IN and a 1-2 record in the Americas League regular season were questioned by many as to what happened to what was once the strongest team in the region.

Now that it’s all said and done, Syyko’s vision of a super team for Sentinels will move forward without him.
