Abed Close to Rejoining Shopify, Says SabeRLight-

It looks like Abed “Abed” Yusop is close to reuniting with Shopify Rebellion.

In a recent livestream, Shopify Rebellion offlaner Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Volek revealed that the Filipino mid laner is expected to rejoin the squad midway into the second round of the DreamLeague Season 19 group stage.

“Okay well, Abed should be coming somewhere here, April 16-17,” SabeRLight said after ranting about the tournament’s schedule.

Abed missed the first round of the group stage due to visa issues but Shopify Rebellion managed to do well with stand-in Kasra “Mikey” Mesbah.

The team went on to finish the opening round with a 3-4-0 win-loss-draw standing and qualify for the second round of the groups by ending Pool A at the second spot.

Based on what SabeRLight said, Abed is expected to join the team in time for their match-up against powerhouse Team Liquid (April 16) or against reigning The International champion Tundra Esports (April 17).
