K1ngkong Leads TNC to Massive Sweep of ECHO

TNC scored another massive upset in the MPL Philippines Season 11 regular season after taking down reigning world champion ECHO via sweep at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.

Coming off a huge win over Bren Esports last Sunday, the bottom-ranked TNC tripped another big fish in its bid to qualify in the playoffs.

Rookie jungler King “K1ngkong” Perez had his fingerprints all over the win, especially in the marathon Game Two that even reached the 37-minute mark. His crucial play on Lancelot allowed the upset-seeking TNC to close out the world champs via sweep.

“Siguro po yung laman ng isipan namin nothing to lose na lang po kasi hindi naman po namin macocontrol yung lahat ng resulta kaya dapat po kahit anong mangyari ibigay lang namin yung best namin,” said K1ngkong.

“Hindi ko na po iniisip kung makakapasok pa ng playoffs e. Ang nasa isipan na lang naming lahat, lahat ng games gagawin namin yung best namin,” he added.

With the win, TNC improved its standing to 3-9 with 10 points – still enough to make one final push for the playoffs.

They will take on ONIC PH tomorrow in hopes of solidifying their playoff bid.
