Is YapzOr planning a comeback? Here’s what he said

In a livestream, former Team Secret star Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat announced that he has ‘no plans anytime soon’ on coming back to the Dota 2 Pro Circuit.

YapzOr left Team Secret nine months ago due to health issues. He stayed away from Dota 2 since then before eventually returning to streaming a few months back which allowed him to connect with his fans and the scene once again.

The 28-year-old Jordanian soft support, though, isn’t ruling out a comeback entirely.

“No plans anytime soon, but who knows? I might play [in] the Saudi qualifier. That’s all I know for now.”

The Riyadh Masters 2023 that Yapzor is talking about is the championship tournament of the ESL Pro Dota 2.

YapzOr’s announcement has come as a surprise to his fans, who were eagerly waiting for his return to competitive Dota 2. Known for his aggressive playstyle and unique hero picks, YapzOr has been a fan favorite since his early days in the scene. 

He was an integral part of the Team Secret roster that dominated the Dota 2 Pro Circuit in the 2018-19 season, winning four Major titles and finishing as runners-up at The International 2019.

YapzOr’s absence has left a void in the competitive Dota 2 scene, and many fans are hoping that he will make a comeback soon. His decision to participate in the Saudi qualifier for the Riyadh Masters 2023 has raised hopes that he may return to competitive Dota 2 sooner rather than later. 

The tournament is set to feature some of the best teams from around the world, and YapzOr’s presence would undoubtedly add to its appeal. It remains to be seen whether YapzOr will be able to replicate his past success in the competitive scene, but his fans are certainly hoping for the best.
