Neta “33” Shapira has been considered as one of the best Doom players in the Dota Pro Circuit.

However, 33’s Doom failed to produce wins for Tundra Esports in the first tour of the DPC Western Europe Division I.

On Friday, the 25-year-old Israeli offlaner brought out his signature Doom once again and steered Tundra Esports to a dominant sweep of Nigma Galaxy which gave the team the early lead in the standings with a perfect 3-0 card.

When asked why his Doom could not get the wins they needed in the previous tour, 33 roasted his teammates and claimed that he has always played great on the hero – and that his teammates were the problem at the time.

“I don’t think anything really changed. I think my team was just noobs. They weren’t winning so I could not carry…the team is always the problem. I was playing perfectly as always,” said 33 in jest.

Turning serious, 33 said that the team is in a really good place right now and he hopes that things will work out for them this time around.

“Everything feels good. We are happy. Some people got time off to relax and reset a bit. I’m here on the bootcamp with Sneyking but it’s a lot more relaxed when it’s only two people,” said the former HellRaisers standout.

Tundra Esports finished third in the previous tour with a 4-3 win-loss standing before placing 9th-12th at the Lima Major.
